We were very pleased to welcome Kings Hedges Guides to Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge for a sleepover as part of the Anglia’s Pyjama Party on Friday 21st February 2025. The Guides were one of many units having a sleepout on World Thinking Day 2025, organised by Girl Guiding Anglia.
The sleepover at Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge was attended by 27 Guides. After an initial safety briefing and climbing session, the Guides were treated to pizza and hotdogs, followed by a movie. After everyone found the right spot for their sleeping bag on the climbing arena, the Guides slept next to the Clip ‘n Climb walls, a unique camping spot for the Anglia Pyjama Party!
In the morning, our team served breakfast, followed by one last climb before everyone got picked up. It was a very successful evening for everyone, and we were very pleased to have been chosen for their venue.
Tamara Willoughby, Centre Manager for Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge, said
‘It was fantastic to have the unit with us for such an important date in their calendar.
Our sleepovers have been so popular since we launched them in October 2024, and we were very pleased to share World Thinking Day with the Kings Hedges Guides.’
